We are Haringey's competitive and friendly swimming club, providing quality swimming teaching and coaching. The club offers a pathway for development in swimming from its 'Learn to swim programme' to its competitive squads.

You can join our teaching and coaching sessions at Tottenham Green and Park Road Leisure Centres.

Our mission is to develop competitive swimming within Haringey Borough by providing opportunity, through training, for each member to achieve their full potential

The club is affiliated to the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) through the London region.

*** IMPORTANT TRAFFIC NEWS*** Alexandra Place Way shut Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th May (added 18th May 2012)

Alexandra Palace Way will be closed in both directions on Saturday and Sunday because of the Red Bull Empire of Dirt BMX event at Alexandra Palace. For those swimming in the Allan Davis gala on Saturday please make sure you allow plenty of time to get to Park Road for a 4.30 warm up.

Haringey Aquatics Diving @ the National Skills Finals 5th and 6th May 2012 (added9th May 2012)

The National Skills Finals were held on Sat May 5th/6th  in Southampton with 420 divers from 45 clubs taking part. We had three divers Jake Lerman, Samuel Carson and Mathilda Whitehead, that had qualified in what  proved to be a very competitive competition with 9 out of 10 records broken over the weekend.  Our divers can take immense pride in their achievement in not only reaching the Finals but the way they dived on the day so congratulation to all three. For full results visit the Diving section of the website.

Learn to Swim: book now for the Summer Term (added 25th April 2012)

We are taking bookings for the summer term's swimming lessons, please click on the link in the main menu for full details. Lessons start at Tottenham Green on Sunday 29th April and at Park Road on Friday 4th May.

Date for your diary: Squad Time Trials@ Park Road Pool on Friday 25th May 2012 (added 24th April 2012)

The next Squad Time Trials (50m all strokes) will be held at Park Road Pool on Friday 25th May 2012. Warm up will be at 7pm.

Waterpolo and Masters sessions (updated 25th April 2012)

The club is introducing two new aquatic disciplines- Haringey Aquatics Waterpolo and Master Swimming:

Waterpolo:. Tuesdays at Park Road in the diving pit, sessions will start at 7.45pm and will cost £20 per month. There is limited space for these sessions so if you are interested please email Joe - teamharingey@gmail.com

Masters Swimming will begin on Wednesday 30th May at Park Road. Sessions will be 7-8pm and  £26 per month. Sessions will be coached by Joe Doyle. Please email teamharingey@gmail.com if you are interested.

Great results for Haringey Aquatics Divers @ Wally Clark Memorial Cup at Morden Park on Sat 21st April (added 24th April 2012)

Haringey Aquatics sent a team of eight divers including three debutant's to  the Wally Clark Memorial Cup at Morden Park on Sat 21st April and again continued to impress with an excellent team performance finishing joint fifth out of nine teams with 25 points. Haringey Aquatics has a chance of winning £5000 but we need you to shop and vote! (added 4th March 2012)

Haringey Aquatics has been shortlisted for the 'Rewarding Local Champions' Award run by the Mall Shopping Centre in Wood Green. Until Monday 10th Sept 2012 for every £20 spent in the shops in the Mall you receive one token (i.e. spend £60 you get three tokens etc) which you place in the collection box for your chosen organisation (i.e. Haringey Aquatics!) at the Ask Me point. The organisation that receives the most tokens will be awarded £5000 so please get shopping!(and remember to tell your family and friends). Haringey Aquatics needs YOU!  (added 9th March 2012)

Haringey Aquatics cannot exist without it volunteer helpers. The club is always open to any offers of assistance from parents willing to help at swimming events and with fundraising, to serving on the Committee, or becoming Swimming Officials. If you are interested please contact ha.membersgmail.com or speak to either Carol Ferguson (at Tottenham Green) or Sharon Austin (at Park Road). All volunteer will require ASA membership (Category 3) and those helping on poolside will have to be CRB checked (just need to fill in a short form and provide proof of address and identity).

Graded Gala @ Clissold Pool Saturday 26th May 2012: team announcement (11th May 2012)

Haringey Aquatics will be competing in the North London Graded League gala hosted by Clissold SC at Clissold Pool on Saturday 26th May. Please can swimmers be at poolside for warm up at 4.30pm.  It is important to let either Joe Doyle teamharingey@gmail.com , Sharon Austin (Park Road Pool) or Carol Ferguson (at Tottenham Green) know if you are able to swim or not by Tuesday 15th May at the latest.

M11 League Round 2: Sunday 20th May 2012: Team announcement(added 26th april 2011)

The second round of the M11 League will take place on Sunday 20th May at Southbury Road Pool , warm up will be at 5pm for a 5.30pm start. Please note that the Club Summer Championships will take place on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th June not on 8/9th June because of the half-term holiday.

Results of recent galas and competitions (updated 1st May 2012)

Davy Trophy Gala, Sunday 29th April 2012: Victory for the Orange team!

The first Davy Trophy of 2012 and the first including all the development and squad swimmers took place on Sunday 29th April at Tottenham Green pool.  There were six teams and it was exciting all the way through and the final results were:

  1. Orange  83 points
  2. Green    68 points
  3. Blue       57 points
  4. Yellow   42 points
  5. Purple   34 points
  6. Red       28 points

It was great to see so many parents and siblings there to support the swimmers. A huge 'thank you'  to Carol Ferguson for organising the Davy Trophy Gala and also to Team Managers, the coaches, timekeepers and other assorted helpers who ensured the gala ran smoothly. 

Middlesex County Development Meet15/21/22 April: all resulst available on Middlesex County Association website (updated 1st May 2011))

Fifty Haringey Aquatics swimmers participated in the Spring Middlesex Development Meet and between them swam 270 events! There were lots great performances and many swimmers came away with medals, rosettes, PBs and coveted 'speeding tickets' and the younger swimmers gained valuable gala experience.The results are available via the Middlesex County Association website www.middlesexswimming.com. A big 'thank you' to Chris Maeer for co-ordinating the entry and acting as team manager on poolside.

Linda has a a full list of those swimmers who are due entry fee refunds from this event and they will be distributed by the poolside adminstrators Sharon and Carol shortly at training sessions.

M11 League Round One, 22nd April 2012 (18th March 2012)

Younger swimmers from Haringey Aquatics competed in Round One the M11 League on Sunday 22nd April hled at Barnet Copthall Pool- with some of them having ealier swam at the Middlesex Development Meet! (Thank you to the parents and coaches for organising the logistics!) It was a great team effort  and the results should follow shortly.

Gordon Trophy Gala 2012:  Emphatic victory for Haringey Aquatics!( report and pictures added 4th April2012)

Haringey Aquatics produced a fantastic team effort to win the Gordon Trophy Gala which was held on Saturday 3rd March at Park Road Pool. Haringey Aquatics led from the outset and the final results were:

Success at the Surrey County ASA 1m Age Groups championship for Haringey Aqatics divers (added 24th Feb 2012)

We sent a small team of 3 divers to the Surrey County ASA 1m Age Groups championships at Guildford on Sat 18th Feb. Whilst it was a big step up in calibre of diving, the team performed really well bringing home more medals with a Silver and a Bronze and narrowly missing out on another Bronze. Arena League 2011: Haringey Aquatics hit their target for 2011 (update 24th Jan 2012)
